Master at Arms (MA) Subject Matter Expert – Jacksonville FL

A. Harold and Associates is seeking an experienced Master at Arms (MA) SME. Working with Instructional Systems Designers (ISD), Navy instructors, and other SMEs, the MA SME supports the capture of material and information from formal training documents and participates in instructional data gathering events to support content related to specific MA “A” school and “C” school courses. This position requires up to 50% travel.

Specific Duties/Job requirements

  • Collaborate with ISDs and other SMEs to organize formal and documented training content and training delivery artifacts

  • Lead team in understanding of accession/apprentice-level training continuum

  • Provide USN MA expertise in facilitating discussions while capturing course learning objectives and other cognitive activities

  • Other assigned tasks

Required Experience/Education

  • Successful performer in rating

  • Must have familiarity with MA rating training continuum and content/coverage of C-School

  • Must have an active Secret Security clearance

  • Knowledge of rating technical references and community/SYSCOM technical document repositories/services

  • Demonstrated understanding of accession/apprentice-level task performance, knowledge, skill, cues, and pitfalls

  • Prior Fleet service in rating at minimum of E-7 paygrade

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel)

  • Organized and concise

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Exceptional writing skills

Preferred Experience

  • Prior service at the CSCS Learning Center N7

  • Prior service as A- or C-School instructor and NETC MTS qualification

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or better
