Engility is in need of an Assessment and Authorization Analyst to support our Cyber Security Test & Evaluation program in Virginia Beach, VA (Dam Neck area).
The A&A Analyst will perform Computer Lab Technician, professional work experience installing, operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing computer systems, computer networks, peripheral equipment, virtual computing environments, databases, and software applications. Experience with multiple computer Operating Systems such as Microsoft Windows, Linux, Solaris, or VMware, etc. Experience with assisting and communicating with users in order to effectively communicate system changes and security requirements, and to plan system updates. Experience with documenting and maintaining system configurations of computer based labs, networks, and systems. Site support location is Virginia Beach areas, with limited travel to areas within the region of support
Perform Cybersecurity Engineering services across DoD systems’ lifecycle.
Perform vulnerability analysis of DoD systems and identify, report, and resolve security violations.
Ensure that all information systems are functional and secure; recommend information assurance/security solutions and controls to support requirements to include developing waiver packages for end-of-life software.
Provide technical planning and systems engineering to ensure Information Assurance compliance and secure cyber posture with respect to availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and non-repudiation.
Develop/review/maintain Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation packages.
Perform system categorization; select, tailor security controls, implement, and test security controls.
Develop RMF accreditation artifact documentation to include Risk Assessment Report (RAR), Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM) Strategy, Security Authorization Package, engineering documentation, network drawings, and related documentation as required by DoD accreditation standards.
Provide Configuration Management support.
Secret Level Security Clearance
Minimum IAT Level II
3-5 Years experience in Cyber Security
In depth understanding of computer security, military system specifications, and DoD Information Assurance policies.
Experience with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), and other DoD cybersecurity tools.
Experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS).
Strong ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in written and oral presentations.
